De-Ice is a family business based in Essex and provides a Gritting and Snow Clearance service to commercial clients across the UK, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Their business was being hampered by an outdated and inflexible legacy system that struggled to grow with their business.
TGM proposed a completely new system based on Dynamics CRM 365, that would manage their entire business from Sales and Marketing, to Operations and Accounting.
Due to the nature of their business being seasonal they had a very tight deadline to implement the new system for Winter. We proposed a phased approach where the core operational part of their business was completed first and then additional functionality added at regular stages from there.
Within 6 weeks, we had a core system up and running and being used across the country. This stage included a customised Dynamics CRM 365 system that received data feeds from the Met Office and incorporated a portal used by their engineers via mobile phones.
The engineers portal was based on the Monkey Portal and Monkey Job Sheet products and allowed the engineers to upload photographs of completed gritting jobs and capture customer signatures. It has a responsive design to allow it to be used on any device such as Mobile, Tablets and Laptops.
Later phases added Lead creation, sales processing and quote generation, and finally order management and invoice generation.
